350 cruises expected in Arrecife next season

The Las Palmas Port authority has published Arrecife’s cruise schedules for the 2025/2026 season.

A total of 352 stops are currently expected, a handful more than last season’s total of 347. Although the season starts in September and ends in May, the vast majority of cruisers will arrive between October and April, with several weekends where three boats will be expected.

The largest cruiser to arrive will be the Iona, operated by P&O, which measures 344 metres. The huge Mein Schiff and AIDA cruisers will also be regulars, as usual. Cunard’s Queen Victoria will make one of its stops on Christmas Eve before heading back to Southampton.

Although it has been confirmed that cruisers will stop at Playa Blanca next season, no schedules have yet been published. It has been suggested that the southern resort may act as a relief for Arrecife on busy weekends, although it can only take smaller boutique cruises.
