Firefighters were called two rubbish bin fires on calle Ramón Franco in Arrecife on Monday night this week.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that two plastic rubbish containers had been set on fire. The team safely extinguished the flames and no injuries or damage to other items were reported.
Rubbish containers cost the island’s Ayuntamiento’s approximately 1200 euros to replace.
