Hotels on Lanzarote generated 87 million euros more in 2024 compared to the previous year, totalling 772.8 million.
According to data provided by ISTAC (Canary Islands Statistics Institute), the number of overnight stays rose by 300,000 compared to 2024, a total of 12.6 million.
Hotel room occupancy increased from 84.9% in 2023 to 85.9% in 2024.
The average nightly rate increased by 10.5% from 120.9 euros in 2023 to 133.6 euros last year.
Hotel employment also increased by almost a thousand workers. Lanzarote’s hotels ended 2024 with a total of 9.851 employees, 981 more than at the end of 2023.
