VV (Holiday rental) properties made more than €190 million on Lanzarote in the first nine months of this year, according to figures from the Cabildo’s Statistics Centre.
The busiest month was February, with over €38 million of income, but most months register more than €20 million.
The average length of stay is short, at 4.76 days, and the average daily price of rental is €179.
Over 8.000 rental properties are available on the island, offering 37,000 places.
