The Iberostar hotel group have announced plans to remodel the Selection Lanzarote Park hotel in Playa Blanca and are applying for permits this year.
The plans were confirmed by Iberostar’s commercial director, Finn Ackermann, in a recent interview with Hosteltur.
The Iberostar group owns 32 hotels in Spain, 11 of which are in the Canary Islands. In addition to its plans to refurbish its Playa Blanca hotel, Ackermann confirmed that they would also be refurbishing its hotel in Fuerteventura.
When asked about reinvesting in its existing hotels, Ackermann stated “the Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace, we are going to close this summer for three or four months to refurbish; for the Lanzarote Park at the end of the year we are also going to request a refurbishment.”.
