Yaiza Ayuntamiento have announced this year’s carnival events that will take place on the 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th of March. Here is the list of events in English:
THURSDAY 27th
5pm – Canine Carnival costume contest. At the Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca.
8:30pm – Carnival Gala. At the Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca.
FRIEDAY 28th
6pm – Traditional Carnival Parade from Parranda Los Buches. Along Calle Limones in Playa Blanca.
9:30pm – Concert from Carlos Rivera followed by a verbena party. Starting at the Princesa Yaiza hotel and later moving to the Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca.
SATURDAY 29th
10:30am – Children’s Carnival. At the Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca.
6pm – Main Carnival Parade. Departing from the new ALDI supermarket and ending with a verbena party at the Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca.
SUNDAY 30th
12:30pm – Day Carnival with performances from DJ Elvis, Orquesta La Sabrosa, DJ Renzzo El Selector and a tribute to Juan Luis Guerra. At the Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca.
9pm – Drag Queen Gala. At the Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca.
