Renowned timplista to perform live in Femés

The renowned timplista Domingo Rodríguez Oramas, nicknamed “El Colorao”, will perform next Thursday, June 26th, in Femés.

Next Thursday’s concert is part of an ongoing exhibition dedicated to the Timple instrument, a symbol of Canarian identity and folklore.

The concert is free entry until capacity is reached. It will take place at the Plaza de San Marcial in Femés, which will allow for a greater number of people to enjoy the musical evening with one of the greatest exponents of the timple.

The exhibition “The timple, echoes of identity” can be visited until June 30th in the Casona de Femés, free of charge, from Tuesday to Friday, from 15:00 to 20:00 hours, and Saturdays from 9:00 to 14:00 hours. Curated by Daniel Morales and coordinated by renowned timplista José Vicente Pérez, it is the result of the collaboration between the municipalities of Yaiza and Tías.
