Costa Teguise will hold its carnival parade this evening, and the weather forecast isn’t too bad with no rain forecast and only moderate winds. The cool weather of the last few days will continue, however, with temperatures of 13-14 degrees Celsius predicted.
The parade will gather at 5.30 pm near Sands Beach Apartments, and make its way up the hill to the Pueblo Marinero. The route always seems to make the noise and rhythms particularly intense, and with groups such as the mighty Batacuda Villa Pipol performing on their home turf, you’ll have no excuse not to warn yourself up dancing.
An open-air concert will continue the celebrations from 8 pm in the car park near the Pueblo Marinero.
The weather for the weekend will continue much the same as for the last day or two, with fresh winds, clouds and some sunny intervals. There may be the odd isolated flurry of light rain, and temperatures will hover around the mid-teens.
