National Police have arrested members of a drug ring operating between Lanzarote and Portugal.
Three men, aged between 32 and 47 years of age, were arrested in Arrecife and charged with drug trafficking and membership of an illegal organization.
The three men had avoided arrest in 2022 by escaping to Portugal. However, an investigation confirmed that they were back on the island and using two establishments in the capital to distribute drugs.
During the operation, police confiscated 2,5 kilograms of cocaine, 290 grammes of heroin, 217 grammes of hashish and €4,810 in cash.
