An Arrecife judge has released Gerry Hutch on provisional bail.
Hutch has been in preventive custody since his arrest two weeks ago and is charged with leading a criminal organisation and money laundering offences.
He was freed yesterday morning after paying €100,000 bail following an appeal which was upheld by the magistrate.
Hutch has been living intermittently on Lanzarote since 2012.
