Lanzarote Airport registered almost 800,000 passengers in March 2026

Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport registered 794,349 passengers in March this year, a 0.6% decrease compared to last year.

In March 2026, Canary Islands airports recorded a total of 5,018,261 passengers, 0.9% less than last year.

Of the total number of passengers recorded, 4,992,204 arrived on commercial flights. Of those, 1,716,812 travelled on domestic flights, 3% less than in March last year, and 3,275,392 did so on international flights, 0.4% more.

Gran Canaria Airport registered the highest number of passengers, with 1,498,110, which represents an increase of 0.6% compared to March 2025.

It is followed by the Airport of Tenerife South, with 1,373,730 passengers and a decrease of 0.4%; César Manrique-Lanzarote, with 794,349 (-0.6%); Fuerteventura, with 624,124 (-2.8%); Tenerife Norte-Ciudad de La Laguna, with 569,492 (-1.7%); La Palma, with 127,356 (-9.2%); El Hierro, with 22,347 (-5.2%); and La Gomera with 8,753 (-7.9%).

January – March Total

In the first quarter of the year, Canarian airports have registered 14,157,283 passengers, 0.1% more than in the same period in 2025.

Of the 14,093,494 commercial passengers, 4,845,051 travelled on domestic flights (-1.8%) and 9,248,443 did so on international flights, 1.4% more than the accumulated of these months in 2025.
