Lanzarote’s holiday homes earned 23 million euros in October

Holiday homes on Lanzarote earned 23.2 million euros in October this year.

The data is provided by the Canarian Institute of Statistics and has shown that October’s income is the second highest of 2024, just falling behind August when holiday homes earned 24.03 million euros.

By municipality, holiday homes in Yaiza earned 9.34 million euros in October, followed by Tías with 7.06 million, Teguise with 3.64 million, Haría with 1.25 million, Arrecife with 807,000 euros, San Bartolomé with 575,000 and Tinajo with 553,000.

Of the holiday properties available in booking sites, 7,703 holiday homes in Lanzarote were booked last October, i.e. 96.1% of the total number of homes. Most of the bookings were in Yaiza (2,311), Tías (2,115), Teguise (1,618) and Haría (588). October was also the month with the highest number of holiday homes booked in Lanzarote this year.

Those that booked holiday homes on the island in October stayed an average of 4.65 days, which is above the Canary Islands average.
