Spain’s Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts that light rain is to come this Friday and over the weekend.
This Friday will see a mixed start, with cloudy skies giving way to clearer spells around midday. The afternoon, however, brings a likelihood of light and occasional rain. Temperatures will hold steady, with a low of 14 degrees and highs ranging from a comfortable 18 to 21 degrees. A moderate north wind is forecast, which is expected to intensify significantly in the late afternoon, bringing strong gusts to inland areas.
Looking ahead, the unsettled conditions are set to continue. Saturday will dawn with cloudy skies, and light, occasional rain is predicted throughout the day. A slight dip in temperatures will see lows of 13 degrees and a high of around 20 degrees. The wind will become a more prominent feature, blowing moderate to strong from the north, with very strong gusts likely on eastern and western coasts.
Sunday follows a similar pattern, with further rainy spells expected. The occasional light rain may turn moderate at times. Thermometers will read much the same, from 13 degrees up to 19 degrees. The moderate to strong northerly wind will persist, accompanied again by the potential for very strong gusts.
