In just a few weeks you will see Puerto del Carmen celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in full force, with 3 days of events leading up to & including the big day on the 17th of March. Here is a list of all of today’s official celebrations in Puerto del Carmen.
The unmistakable buzz is back in the air. Following a record-breaking 2025 celebration, the organisers of the St. Patrick’s Festival Puerto del Carmen have officially published the events for the 3-day celebration on Sunday 15th, Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th of March.
It promises to be the biggest and best event yet, with a fantastic first-time event taking place on Los Pocillos beach in Puerto del Carmen.
Here is what is happening, where, and at what time:
Sunday 15th March
11am – 5pm: Hurling & Canarian Wrestling on the beach at Playa de Los Pocillos
3pm: NEW 5km ÉireLanza Charity walk/jog/run for mental health & suicide awareness
Monday 16th March
5pm: Opening of the festival at the Plaza del Varadero (Old Town Harbour in Puerto del Carmen.)
An exchange of Canarian & Irish flags with local Lanzarote Group Güerma and Irish group Celtic Roots followed by both of their cultural Music and Dance on the main stage.
6:40pm: Irish Legend Dessie Hynes
7:50pm: The Sloanes
9:30pm: Conor Magee
10:30pm: Max Santalucia Band

Tuesday 17th March
11am: Mass in Señora de Lourdes Church in Old Town, Puerto del Carmen
Followed by a meet and great outside and then a walk to the Varadero (Harbour) where proceedings will begin with Presentations and the Irish National Anthem followed by Live Music:

The official St. Patrick’s Day Parade along the Avenida will start at 5pm at the Hotel San Antonio
