This January the Lanzarote airport recorded a total of 701,232 travellers, a 4.4% increase compared to last year. Meanwhile, Canarian Airports recorded 4.5 million travellers, a 6.9% increase.
Canarian airports recorded a total of 4,587,883 travellers this January, which is 6.9% more than January 2024. Of the total number of travellers recorded last month, 4.5 million were on commercial flights, of which 1.6 million were domestic flights (7.9% increase), and 2.9 million were international flights (6.4% increase).
Traffic by airports
Gran Canaria Airport recorded the highest number of travellers in January, with 1,370,749, 6.2% more than in January 2024.
It was followed by Tenerife South Airport, with 1,287,940 passengers and an increase of 6.8%; César Manrique-Lanzarote, with 701,232 (+4.4%); Fuerteventura, with 549,609 (+8.1%); Tenerife Norte-Ciudad de La Laguna, with 520,263 (+10.3%); La Palma, with 126,148 (+9.3%); El Hierro, with 22,836 (+4.4%) and La Gomera, with 9,106 (+19.8%).
