The SPAR supermarket in the centre of Playa Blanca will reopen its doors this Tuesday, after a lengthy refurbishment which saw the supermarket close its doors last year.
Until recently, Playa Blanca’s supermarket shopping options were limited to just SPAR, HiperDino and the odd local shops. However, since the arrival of LIDL last year and now the new ALDI, weekly shops are a lot more convenient for residents of the sunny southern resort.
Over the years, Playa Blanca’s HiperDinos have undergone refurbishments to bring them up to more modern standards. However, the SPAR in the centre of the town has remained the same for the most part and last year closed its doors for a much-needed overhaul to its appearance.
The SPAR supermarket looks completely different now, featuring new counters, aisles, and in general a much more modern appearance.
The supermarket will reopen its doors this Tuesday at 8am.
