Teguise Ayuntamiento will celebrate the 10th edition of the Famara Total race this month, from August 14th – 16th.
Teguise Mayor, Olivia Duque, stated, “Famara Total is a meeting point between sport, nature and the identity of our municipality. We have managed to consolidate an event that attracts runners of all ages and levels, offering a unique experience in one of the most impressive landscapes of Lanzarote.”
Teguise Sports Councillor, Alejandro Ramirez, emphasised the inclusive nature of the event, “Famara Total is not only for those who come to compete; it is also for those who want to improve themselves, enjoy the environment or share a different experience. Each goal achieved has its own value.”
Three days of sport
The program will start on August 14th with the FT Vertical, a night climb that has already become one of the most spectacular moments of the event. On the 15th the FT Chinija will be held, for children, and on the 16th the main race, the Famara Total, will take place, with routes adapted to all levels: 7.5 km, 15 km, 25 km, 45 km.
To celebrate the 10th edition, Teguise Ayuntamiento will incorporate additional activities during the three days.
