Today’s Lanzarote Marathon and the return of the Virgin of Dolores from Arrecife to Mancha Blanca on Sunday are likely to lead to road closures.
Roads affected by the Marathon have not been officially announced, but it is likely to affect roads in the vicinity of the seafront promenade in Costa Teguise, as well as those between Las Caletas, Puerto de los Marmoles and the entrance to Arrecife near IKEA.
On Sunday, the image of the Virgin will be carried out of Arrecife, via the Gúime roundabout to San Bartolomé and then on to La Vegueta, Tinajo and Mancha Blanca.
