Puerto del Carmen’s Christmas Craft Market opened on Thursday and will remain open until tomorrow (Sunday 15th).
The market is located at the Plaza de las Naciones at Playa de los Pocillos and features 56 crafters from Lanzarote and other Canary Islands. Mayor José Juan Cruz said “Crafts, food and music will come together to support our local traditions.”
Commerce councillor Miriam Hernández said she hoped that “the number of tourists would help the crafters’ sales and ensure that a piece of the Lanzarote and Canaries will reach European homes.”
